The Bible says he who finds a good wife has found a good thing.  Marriage is a good thing.  I don’t mean if you have the perfect spouse, it is a good thing.  The institution itself God calls good.  But a good marriage is not the goal.  A perfect marriage is non-existent so our daily quest is building a better marriage.

The jitters ran through your blood like electricity as you stood in your wedding gown waiting to walk down the aisle, changing your life forever.  You were so in love.  The relationship beamed with excitement.  The can’t-wait-to-see you feeling bonked you on the head every moment that you were apart.  Finally, marriage was going to take you to the next level of sharing your life, falling in love, sitting in the porch swing, enjoying cups of coffee, watching the sunrise in the cool of the morning.  But what happens when all the butterflies leave the stomach and the passion cools off?
